Joining in on the festivities and celebrations has long since been a family tradition.  The hot dogs, burgers, BBQ, outdoor concerts, parades, and a plethora of other activities will culminate with a brilliant splash of color and amazement over the city skies.  The 4th of July fireworks in Miami are mind-blowing and a sight to be remembered.  Here is a small guide to all the events taking place this 4th of July.

The following events are our top picks of the best events taking place and how to best celebrate this coming holiday.

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS

1.     4th of July Celebration at the Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables.

WHAT:  Special Concert by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band, concessions and a spectacular fireworks display

WHEN:  Grounds open at 5:00PM, live concert at 7:00PM and Fireworks at 9:00PM

WHERE:  Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Ave, Coral Gables

COSTS:  Free fireworks viewing on the golf course

WHERE TO PARK:  The City will offer free parking and continuous shuttle service throughout the evening to and from the Biltmore Hotel.  Shuttle services begin at 5:00PM from the following locations: (Last shuttle departs for the fireworks at 8:15PM)

  • University of Miami, Ponce Parking Garage & BankUnited surface lot
  • Coral Gables Youth Center, 405 University Dr.
  • Garage 4, 345 Andulusia Ave

2.     South Beach Ocean Drive 4th of July Fireworks

WHAT:  Enjoy a fantastic display of fireworks from the sidewalk cafes or rooftop venues.

WHEN:  Fireworks begin at 9:00PM

WHERE:  Ocean Drive, South Beach (between 5th and 15th Street)

COST:  Free (when enjoying the display from the street).

WHERE TO PARK:  Given the nature of South Beach, we recommend Uber, Lyft or Car Pool.  Use your local ParkMe app to find general parking in the area.

Note:  South Beach has very strict "open container" ordinances.  Remember to not walk around with open containers of alcoholic beverages.

3.     Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade & Fireworks

WHAT:  Enjoy the family-friend 4th of July Parade on Key Biscayne.  There will be jets flying overhead, marching bands, parade floats and much, much, more. 

WHEN:  Parade starts at 11:00AM and Fireworks begin at 9:00PM

WHERE:  Crandon Blvd. from Harbor Drive to Westwood Drive

COST:  Free

WHERE TO PARK:  There are many shops, shopping centers, and parking locations along Key Biscayne.  Arrive early to get a great spot. 

4.     Miami Beach Fire on the 4th

WHAT:  Come enjoy the all-day beachfront block party!  Live music, foods trucks, kids zone and more.

WHEN:  9:00AM - 10:00PM

WHERE:  North Beach Bandshell on Colling Ave & 73rd St.

COST:  Free

WHERE TO PARK:  A free, dedicated shuttle service will operate from 11:00AM to 11:00PM between the 42nd St Garage and the North Beach Bandshell.
